Today, tune-up does not mean what it did in the past; during today’s tune-ups, we replace plugs at factory-recommended intervals.
You may need service sooner if the engine is running rough or a services light signals a problem.
Fuel injection cleaning is something that should be performed to extend the life of your tune-up. It is vital that your engine and fuel system operate at the optimum performed every 30,000 to 40,000 miles. This information can be found in your owner’s manual.
